I joined the Bay Area Riders Forum (with the lovely acronym BARF) a few weeks ago and have found a lot of great local resources there. I thought this was particularly nice for newbie riders – a group ride where the leader takes much care to go the speed limit or under, if appropriate, and slow on the twisties. Very cool, confidence-building, safe, group riding. Thanks BARF.
