Today I'd like to honor Teri Conrad in my 31 Days of Women in Motorcycling series. Teri is an influencer as a writer and editor. She's been at the helm of Accelerate Magazine, a Riders of Kawasaki (ROK™) focused zine for the ROK community since 2007, delivering 16 consecutive print issues prior to taking the magazine digital in 2010.
Teri discovered a passion for two wheel-travel and adventure and for writing about motorcycling in 2003 when she started riding her own bike — she'd been riding on the back of her mom's motorcycle until then. Teri rides both cruisers and sportbikes, has dabbled in dirtbike riding, and has three motorcycles of her own. Her work has appeared in Iron Horse, Ride Texas, Women Riders Now, Biker Ally, Friction Zone, Adventure Sports Outdoors, Portrait of Achievement, Live Life Travel, and Cycle Trader magazines.
