Dear Woman Biker!

Last year our association has conducted a survey on the Italian Woman Bikers. The results gathered so far helped us in better understanding who the Italian woman bikers are, how many they are, what they do with their bikes, their favorite brands, models, disciplines and which future trends lie ahead for women on the two wheels.

The aim of this letter is to collect some information about woman bikers in other countries. Moreover with relevance to woman racers(professional and amateur), since, this year, we have organized the first Italian speed championship for women only (for further info on our trophy please visit http://www.motocicicliste.net/trofeo ).

We would like to understand what kind of discipline woman riders practice at professional levels outside Italy thus to find any common traits among the different motorcycling scenes in Europe.

Our European Meeting, taking place in Varano de‚ Melegari Parma Italy, will be just the right chance to meet with other women in love with the two wheels in order to discuss about the female motorbike panorama in Europe.

We are very pleased to invite you to this event and hereby kindly ask your availability to share with us your experiences, information, any official and unofficial data regarding the woman biker scenario in your country.

Naturally the data and the information we are collecting, thanks to all
European woman bikers, will be at the disposal and for the benefit of all parties joining the survey and will be not disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Please find below the questions.

1) How many riders (woman professional bikers practicing agonistic activities in the various motorbike disciplines) are there in your country?

2) Which discipline is the most popular amongst woman riders (speed, supermotard, cross∑)?

3) Has there ever been a fully female championship (any discipline)?
If so, when, of what kind, how did it go, does it still take place?

4) Approximately what ranking are gained by the female riders who race in mixed championships?

5) Name some female riders you know in your country? In which discipline do they run? In the majority do they participate to regional championships? National? European?

6) In your opinion, what kind of activity / job is done by the female agonist [competitive] bikers? Do they work in the motorbike world (dealers, journalists, testers, etc). or not?

7) How many female bikers (professionals and in general) are there in your country? (If possible please split the two data in agonistic and non-agonistic, thank you).

à la suite d’un étude que notre Association a mené sur les Motocyclistes Italiennes l’année passée, pour comprendre qui sont-elles, combien il y en a, quel utilise elle font de leur moto, le genre de moto préféré, etc., nous aimerons maintenant pouvoir comprendre quelle est la situation aussi à l’étranger, et en particulier, dès que cette année nous avons organisé le premier championnat italien de vitesse féminin, nous voudrions comprendre ce que les motocyclistes font au dehors de l’Italie, dans le secteur de l’agonisme, pour nous confronter, et voir s’il y a des points de contact, etc.

A l’occasion de notre Meeting Européen (qui se déroulera cette fois le 31 juillet-1er Août, au Circuit de Varano de Melegari, PARME, auquel nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter), nous voudrions en effet profiter de l’occasion pour nous raconter et nous connaître un peu mieux, connaître ce qui se passe dans nos Pays respectifs dans le secteur du motocyclisme féminin.

Naturellement les données et les infos que nous sommes en train de collecter à travers toutes les femmes motardes européennes que nous connaissons, seront à disposition de toutes, spécialement en vue d’une connaissance réciproque plus profonde.

letztes Jahr hat unsere Vereinigung (Motocicliste.net) eine Untersuchung über die Italienische Motorradfahrerin gemacht. Wir wollten wissen wer und wie viel sind, wie sie das Motorrad verwenden, welches Motorrad Sie vorziehen usw..

Jetzt möchten wir die Auslandssituation erfahren.
Da wir ab dieses Jahr den ersten Geschwindigkeitsfrauenmeisterschaft organisiert haben, möchten wir ganz besonders wissen, was die ausländische Motorradfahrerin im Kampfbereich machen. In der Tat möchten wir uns zusammen vergleichen, um eventuelle Verbindungspunkte zu finden, usw..

Unser Europäisches Meeting wir dieses Jahr in Varano de Melegari vom 31. Juli bis 1. August stattfinden. Wir werden Sehr froh sein falls du an diesem Meeting teilnimmst und über die Situation des Frauenmotorradssports in unseren beiden Länder mit uns zusammen sprechen kannst.

Die Daten, die wir bei allen Europäischen Motorradfahrerin sammeln, werden natürlich zur Verfügung von allen gestellt, um uns einander besser zu kennen.

1 .Wie viel Fahrerin (d.h. Motorradfahrerin die Kampfgeist in den verschiedenen Disziplin machen) geben es in deinem Land?

2 . Magen die Fahrerin in deinem Land mehr Geschwindigkeit, Moto-Cross, Trial, Supermotard, usw.?

3. Gibt es nie einen Geschwindigkeitsfrauenmeisterschaft (oder von einem anderen Disziplin) in deinem Land?
Falls ja, wann, von welchem Art, wie ist es gegangen, findet es auch jetzt statt?

4. Wie positionieren sich ca. die Fahrerin, die mit Männer wetteifern?

5. Kennst du einige Fahrerin von deinem Land? Falls ja, in welchem Disziplin wetteifern sie? Nehmen sie meisten Meisterschaften oder Regionalpreise teil? Innerstaatlich? Europäische?

6. Deiner Meinung nach, wo arbeiten die Motorradfahrerin, die Kampfgeist machen? Arbeiten Sie jedenfalls im Motorradsektor (Konzessionär, Journalisten, usw…) oder nicht?

7. Gibt es eine uffiziellen Zahl der Motorradfahrerin (d.h. alle die Motorradfahrerin, nicht nur die Kampfgeist machen) in deinem Land?
