Dang! Two hundred and fifty bucks for pants that make your butt look big? That's motorcycle couture for you. Sure, the bootylicious look is it in some cultures–I was just in a Chinatown variety shop that sold an array of padded underpants, after all–but in others it's butt-burning and thigh-trimming exercises three times a week. Too bad that's mine. (Culture, that is… Okay, never mind.) Well, motorcyclists do have to make sacrifices. Or maybe we just have to learn to love those hip pad "enhancements." Swish, swish.

My review of the excellent Firstgear TPG Monarch jacket and bootylicious Escape pants is coming up at WomenRidersNow.com. Stay tuned.

  • Looks good to me …but 200 bucks…come on give me a break…lol…no offence meant, just couldn’t resist the pun…!!!!
    LMAO

  • Carla,
If you have a similar photo, but without any pants on, I could maybe give you an accurate answer to your question. On the other hand, based on this photo, I think you look great in those pants. Does this mean I’m culturally confused?

  • You can’t be serious!
Most women would kill to have your body. I think you already know the answer: We guys will love your butt, and the rest of you, whatever you wear. Besides, we wouldn’t want that pretty thing to get scraped. If it really bothers you, then just think of your pants as jodhpurs.
