Whenever people ask me what’s the best place to travel by motorcycle I say Italy, no contest. They’ve got great roads, great food, friendly people, the mountains, the ocean, lakes, hot springs, and a few nice islands, too. Not to mention great cities, quaint villages, historic sites, ruins, mosaics, museums, abundant campgrounds and agrotourism options, and, oh yeah, fabulous, wonderful motorcycles.

Oh, this sounds like so much fun. I love, love, love Italy — for all the reasons you mention. Just got back from a tour (Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland)a couple of weeks ago, but my heart is still there.
I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing what is out there, especially for female riders.
