This is just too cool. A new eco-car/motorcycle drives like a car but corners
like a motorcycle due to a unique tilting system that gives it the ability to
lean at 45 degrees. The three-wheeled machine runs on both petrol and electric yet can accelerate from 0 to
60mph in six seconds. It is fully enclosed with a 360 degree glass canopy roof so both
passengers can get a full view of their journey while being protected
from the elements. The makers say that it will get 100mpg with a top speed of over 100mph, will include a steel roll bar, air-conditioning, heating, and a stereo.

VentureOne: Ecocar-Motorbike Combo
by Carla King in Motorcycling for Everyone | 1 Comments

An important point about the VentureOne trike is that its automated leaning technology is being licensed from a company in the Netherlands which developed the Carver motorcycle trike — available in Europe. (A leaning trike, naturally, superiorly carvers corners…. get it?) So the Venture company does not now need to take the years, and spend the money, it takes to produce their own version of the leaning system. There is otherwise a great difference between the machines. The projected price of the VentureOne is half the cost of a Carver. And the Carver trike is neither a hybrid nor an all-electric vehicle. And, further, VentureOne trikes will have a much sleeker and slipperier styled body, too…. which, currently, is undergoing final development in design. Yeah…. they do expect the trike to achieve a 100 miles per gallon… and be able to go a 100 miles per hour. So… it won’t be a slug by any means. It’s more like a sports car, than anything. They are striving to bring all States in alignment in relation to helmet laws. In some states a motorcycle that is enclosed and has a roll bar does not require the use of motorcycle helmets. The VentureOne has a complete wrap-around roll cage… like many racing cars do… and driver’s airbags, too. They say their safety specifications are superior to the requirements for cars… and 30 times superior to a bike. Think of it… motorcycles with seat belts and airbags. What next? Wings? Hey… now… there’s an idea!
