The Whitehorse Gear Holiday Shopping Guide

I always love to browse the The Whitehorse Gear Catalog. (And not only because they carry my book.) This month they feature what looks like a really cool portable workbench, kind of like a TV tray for tools that you can hang up flat on your wall when you're done. They're also featuring First Gear's new TPG Escape Pants, which I own and can very enthusiastically recommend. They have zip-out liners for winter, are breathable for summer, and they're waterproof, too. I may wear these in Morocco next year when I travel from the hot desert to the top of the cold Atlas Mountains.
