Shadow of the Rockies: TransAm Trail

by Carla King in Uncategorized0 Comments

Sam Correro's been working hard on the "Shadow of the Rockies" portion of the TransAm Trail. That's the part that goes North-South from El Paso and, eventually, to the Canadian border. He's got it finished up into Wyoming and hopes to complete the rest in the summer. He tells me that it's a nice easy trail, non-technical for the most part, so the big bikes can use it. If you want to explore, visit the TransAm Trail site. Sam sells maps that detail the trips, including motel and gas stops. Nice to dream on a cold winter's day, no? Here's a nice little video that'll give you a taste of the experience.
