Women riders are invited to Scudaria West in San Francisco, who are hosting custom bike builder Jody Perewitz (daughter of custom bike builder Dave
Perewitz) and Nicole Hoffman, National Endurance Racer and member of
Team Rightsforbikers.com. They will discuss their backgrounds, routine
maintenance, riding gear, available resources and safety tips in a Riding Essentials Class for women, sponsored by Kryptonite. Refreshments and door prizes. See you there!

This event is so great to hear about. Women riders have come a long way in just a short time. When I started riding in SF in 1992, there were few of us out there, and the ones that were tended to be edgy and out of the mainstream. It’s so great to see that women riders are now such an everyday thing, so much so that the industry and once male-dominated bike shops are now catering to us.

Thanks for posting the event Carla! It should prove to be a really fun time for women riders to get together and chat about motorcycling. Plus, Kryptonite will be giving away free locks and there will be food and drinks.
