Our quest for the perfect motorcycle jacket never ends. Women Riders Now reports on Marsee Designs “One Wear System” and I can’t wait to try it. Rider/product tester Pamela Collins has ridden with it for 5000 miles and says that it takes a rider from the hottest days to chilly ones in extreme comfort with a minimum of bulk. It also has a handy dandy rain shell. Sounds like a good bet for San Francisco Bay Area riders like me, who ride miles in the city’s summer fog to cross the Golden Gate Bridge into bright sunshine and hot winds. I pack my Olympia Moto Sports suit for hot weather rides in the southern hemisphere, but for here at home am always looking for a more versatile solution. Check this article out and the rest of Women Riders Now magazine from Genevieve Schmitt.

  • I’ve read all about the jacket and wonder if it can really do all they say. Almost seems too good to be true. It does have all the armor I look for in a jacket and I love all the options you can get. I look forward to your report and others on this jacket. I live in a climate that changes quickly all year around, plus it’s warmer in the city and cooler up in the mountains. I already have my winter motorcycle jacket and getting ready to buy my summer jacket, both with armor. In a couple of years I will probably need to replace them, and by then the jacket will have proven itself or not. Please let us know how you like it.

  • Hello Carla!
You most likely won’t remember me and this is more of an email than in response to your blog. I took the WWW’s workshop in April where your workshop told of many things, blog page one. Thank you. I has been helpful to me, as you said it would. Oh! And, more fun than I thought it would. At the time I was so brain filled I thought I’d never retain the information. But, that blog page kept in my last remaining active cell. Recently I took a trip to a new country, Italy and was on my own most of the time. When I was whining about my journey, I would think of you and how you journey with such adventure and gusto! That image knocked the whines right oot of ma heid(out of my head)! Thank you for sharing your spirit – it’s green with royal blues as I write. June A.
