Even if you're meeting a motorcycle for the first time, you can ride, and learn, and raise money for a great cause.

Adventure for the Cures 2012

Core example of Women’s Motorcyclist Foundation Programs

A WIN/WIN FOR ALL!

Participants get to have a life altering experience, with the emphasis on FUN! They take away a whole new or improved set of riding skills while contributing towards eradicating breast cancer. It's a total win/win.

AND, don't let distance or lack of a dirt bike get in your way. Fly into the San Jose, CA airport, and we will pick you up. We will have the bikes at the Hollister Hills State Recreational Vehicle Area for you to use. They will be all sizes for all sizes of riders!

ALSO! There is a skills group for everyone from total non-rider up to Advanced.

Check out our web site for photos of newbies who came to love the dirt with some training! www.womensmotorcyclistfoundation.org

The cost for Adventure for the Cures is $350 for the three full days of rider training with guided trail riding. Plus, WMF will be hosting mechanical seminars and other associated workshops to help riders ready themselves for their own future adventures. This tuition covers the use of the motorcycles, fuel, trainers, ride guides, opening and closing evening meals and free camping. WMF, Inc. even has tents available to use as well.

For those interested, a meal plan is being worked out for on-site breakfasts and lunches. If participants are not interested in camping, there are motels available in nearby Hollister, CA.

In addition to tuition, riders are also asked to raise a minimum of $250 for the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. 100% of your donations go to the cause. Check out Gin's & Sue's online fund raising page as an example of the kind of page you could build:

The Love Foundation intends to put breast cancer into the history books while improving the health of women overall. To this end, a ground breaking program was initiated by the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, the Army of Women. http://www.armyofwomen.org/

The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, in partnership with the Avon Foundation for Women, is literally building an Army of Peaceful Warriors capable of being “at the ready” to participate in clinical trials. All promising research ultimately must meet the test of time on task with human beings. Results can only be considered valid with the involvement of large, committed test groups. If you have not joined the Army of Women yet, there is no time like the present. Each of us is needed as a foot soldier or a member of Adventure of the Cure’s Mounted, Motorized Cavalry!

The Army needs those of us with healthy breasts, survivors and those actively fighting the monster. The Army needs young to old from all races, ethnic groups, orientations, geographic areas, occupations, and life styles. Please join today and encourage others to join you too. Again! Army of Women: http://www.armyofwomen.org/

Write to the Women’s Motorcyclist Foundation to get involved with Adventure for the Cures 2012. Individually and collectively we can have the times of our lives, come away with a whole new set of skills that we can apply to the “Roads Less Traveled” while making a difference for millions with our fund raising efforts.
