In honor of Female Riders Month I’m posting a short profile every day of an inspiring, influential, important women in motorcycling today. You  may think, hmmm, There are 31 days in May, and are there really 31 important, influential, inspiring women in motorcycling? Yes, there are, and more! They’re in powersports, racing, publishing, organizations, and lots of other places that influence and inspire the industry and the people who ride.

Still, I will miss some, so I hope you’ll use the comments section of this blog to note your favorite inspiring, influential, important women in motorcycling… that is, besides YOU, because you are a role model, too.

    I was inspired to get my motorbike licence last year after reading Lois Pryce’s fabulous book Red Tape and White Knuckles. I’m now the proud owner of a Suzuki Marauder and I haven’t looked back since!
    Would be great to raise the profile of women motorcyclists, as there are plenty of them out there.
