Nichole Cheza is the "it" girl today in my 31 Days of Women in Motorcycling because she is truly "one fast female!" I saw her on a press trip to the flat track races in Calistoga, California with a group from Kawasaki, and was thrilled to see the pink-clad racer zip onto the track. (Here's her race report.) Nichole is in her fifth season of professional racing and she’s been riding since she was three years-old.
And here's a nice trivia tidbit… as a Michigan resident, Nichole doesn't stop racing in winter. As a member of the flat-track “Michigan Mafia” she just goes ice racing.
In 2003 she was named the AMA Female Athlete of the Year and in 2004, she broke her back racing but came back the following year. Nichole is only 20 years-old.
