LizJansen Today for my 31 Days of Women in Motorcycling series the spotlight is on Liz Jansen. I talked with Liz, owner of Trillium Motorcycle Tours and Chair of the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada, on September 28 2010 (Episode 286 on SideStand Up).

We discussed the first International Women Riders Congress and Festival held in 2010 in Huntsville, Ontario. Inspired by the 2009 American Women in Motorcycling conference in Keystone Colorado, Liz teamed up with five other women to form the Canadian-based Women Riders Council and set about planning the conference.

On that show she gave us a recap of Ontario event   –  the location, seminars, guided rides, demo rides, activities, attendees — and plans for the future. Liz was going on the road, so we talked about her travels, too. Oh yeah, and she has a book coming out sometime, so stay tuned for more ispiriation from Liz!

Listen to the show in iTunes.  Connect with Liz on Twitter, Facebook, and her newsletter by following the links on her Trillium Tours site.
