Getting up this morning at the Lakeshore Lodge I look out across the sand and the large expanse of very very blue water and think, yeah, I'm going to motorcycle all the way to the other side of it today, and all around it, through the green pines and the small towns and the casinos and the picnic benches and mountains with views. If you haven't been following me on my SPOT, take the tour around this big blue with me today starting at 9 am http://bit.ly/KHtZbk password spotmissadventuring. This trip is courtesy, by the way, of motorcycle enthusiasts in the area who partnered with the tourist bureau who want many many more motorcyclists to visit Tahoe. So they've scouted out the best roads, and have been talking with the hotels to let them know what "motorcycle friendly" means to us (paper towels for our bug-spatted windscreens! safe parking for our machines! and more). If you haven't seen Carl Ribaudo's posts on http://MotoSFO.com on the Sierras, take a look, and I'll be reporting on this trip, too, of course. Stay tuned.
