I created a book formatting guide for Ingram and you can get it for free. I've used Ingram to distribute my books since 1994. Way back, I used their Lightning Source service to distribute my books. It's a complex system for publishing companies, and though it's still in use, they recommend self-publishers and consultants and small publishers use IngramSpark.
