Motorcycle Travel Writer Carla King will give a talk and slide show about her recent trip Around the Adriatic on a Moto Guzzi. She’ll also talk about her upcoming book American Borders, (on her trip around the USA on a Russian Ural motorcycle). The event is hosted by the Wild Writing Women and the Monticello Inn.

Carla’s just returned from circumnavigating the Adriatic Sea, test riding Moto Guzzi’s Breva 750 IE sport touring motorcycle and sending dispatches to her Motorcycle Misadventures website (http://www.motorcyclemisadventures.com). The trip included Italy, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Herzegovina, Croatia, and Slovenia. Carla will also will talk about solo travel, writing, blogging, motorcycling, working on the road, and her upcoming book American Borders.
