I’ve just learned that a popular method for keeping the the front of your bike bug-free is to spray on a slippy slidey substance so that bugs can’t get baked on. I guess the point is to make your surface so polished, nothing sticks. (I guess you shouldn’t use this stuff on your seat, then.) Don’t try it just cause I said it, but here they are: WD-40, PAM, and Plexus polish. (Plastic. It’s Everywhere.)

Anti-Bug Spray for Your Bike: WD-40, PAM, or Plexus?

I tried WD-40 and the bugs didnt stick, but I nearly passed out from that awful smell! Try Jig-A-Loo, it doesn’t stink and seems to keep working much longer than WD-40. (www.jigaloo.com)
