I’m on my way to Milan today to pick up the Breva 750 IE at Moto Guzzi in Mandello del Lario to begin my ride around the Adriatic Sea. I’ll be sending dispatches to the Motorcycle Misadventures: Around the Adriatic website where I’ve already posted quite a bit about the countries I’ll be riding through and the gear I’m packing (Olympia Moto Sports textile jacket and pants, snorkel fins and mask, iBook…). June 4th I hope to post a story about Alis Agostini‘s birthday party (owner of the Mandello dealership) on the banks of Lake Como, then the ride to Venice on June 5th, then down the east coast of Italy, to Greece (to meet the Wild Writing Women June 11th), Albania, Serbia-Montenegro, Bosnia-Hertzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia (where I’ll meet a motocicliste) Silvia Petesona and then it’s back to Italy to return July 6th. I hope you’ll join the trip virtually, and I’d love to hear from you via email, just click the envelope on the site.
Ciao, baby!
