Honda CB350 Featured in Beverley Mahood “This Girl” Music Video

This girl ain’t waitin’ for you boy . . . she’s off to the sand dunes with her eye liner, a motorcycle, and some truly stunning motorcycle boots to hunt down and tame a wolf. Glad she’s donned a helmet and gloves, at least. I don’t know about you, but no matter how the storyline is stretched otherwise, I’m sick of seeing music videos, tv shows, and movies where a rider takes off without even so much as a pair of sunglasses.

Actually, looks like the rider is a body double, but don’t blame Bev, the entertainment industry usually doesn’t allow its stars to ride motorcycles, horses, bungie jump, sky dive . . .

The Honda CB350 she’s riding is a classic, built between 1968 and 1973, and the highest-selling motorcycle ever sold. It’s a great city bike or beginners bike, so if you can get your hands on one, go for it!

Thanks to RetroGrouch on Adventure Rider for the pointer.

  • Great video! Perhaps I am showing my ignorance, but I have never heard of this singer. The bike is awesome.

  • Great website, re the CB350, really the best selling bike? not the Honda Cub or C90 as we called it in the UK?, I owned a CB350 once, not an especially exciting bike, BUT it had a certain sedate charm to it. I liked the American spec with its beautiful wrap around trail exhausts, even if they were out of context on the armchair that was the CB. I ride a Yamaha SRX 4 now, I dont think you have those in the Sates, only the SRX6. The point of this email? ,,,,,no idea !
    Cheers ,
    Andy.

  • Found your site while browsing about the CB350-4 cylinder model. But I used to own a CB350 twin and know a bit about them. It was, during the years it was being built (1968-74), Honda’s most popular model, at least in USA but I suspect everywhere. Not the tops in any particular category, but it could do almost anything asked of it pretty well, from town commuting to backroad carving to light dirt-road duty to long-distance touring, which is why it was so popular. And it was cheap, light, and relatively fast too – with its high revving OHC it performed on a par with much larger bikes with pushrod engines and didn’t vibrate as much as, say, a 650 twin.
In terms of sheer numbers sold and longevity of model run, however, the Honda Cub (the little bike with the step-thru frame) in its various iterations is still the world’s most popular bike of all time, and they are still being made and sold so no other model is likely to catch up soon.
    Cheers, Mike
